How to Play Adjective Bingo

Preparation

Step-by-Step Procedure

1️⃣ Create Bingo Cards – Each student chooses nine adjectives from the list and writes them on their bingo card.

2️⃣ Teacher Calls Out Adjectives – The teacher randomly selects adjectives from the list and writes them down.

3️⃣ Matching Opposites – If a student has the opposite of the called adjective on their bingo card, they can cross it off.

4️⃣ Winning the Game

  • The first student to get three opposite adjectives in a row (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally) wins.
  • Alternatively, students can play until someone crosses off all nine adjectives for a full bingo card.
  • When a student completes a winning sequence, they shout “Bingo!” and the teacher checks their card.

5️⃣ Keep Playing! – Multiple rounds can be played for more practice.
