Video: 5 cities with best street style

Play video twice. Ask these questions:

What does London stand out for?

What materials are common in Milan?

Which country has been taking inspiration from Japanese culture?

Which city is synonymous with ‘high-fashion’?

What are New York Styles inspired by?

Which are the five cities in the video?

Video and Match the words

Play the video, then go to the link and play the game

Activity 2

Project Work – What will people wear in the future?

Play the video and ask students about trends, and what may change in the future. Remember to tell them it doesn’t have to focus on fashion but can be gaming, music, technology, social media, etc).

Put class into two teams, show the 2 Powerpoints on ‘Ridiculous fashion trends in history’ (pt.1/2), read and then bring class back together to discuss.
