Each other and Themselves
They are all pronouns but they express different ideas.
Each other is a reciprocal pronoun, which is used when we need to express an action exchanged by two or more people, or one that is two-directional:
Politicians usually do not trust themselves. (Wrong)
Politicians usually do not trust each other. (Correct)
The other pronoun – themselves – is a reflexive pronoun. It is used when the subject of the clause is still the object of it.
They sponsored themselves to the workshop held in Paris. (themselves refers to They)
