Objective

Students use randomly chosen holiday-related words and phrases to create and share a creative story.

Procedure

Warm-Up: Ask students about their holiday plans, experiences, and any unusual, fantastic, or bad trips they’ve had.

  1. Word Selection:
    • Students randomly pick words from different categories (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, places, and miscellaneous).
  2. Storytelling Activity:
    • Using the chosen words, students create a holiday-themed story.
  3. Peer Review:
    • Students exchange stories and correct each other’s work.
  4. Final Presentation:
    • After final corrections, students read their stories aloud.
