Want to make adverbs of frequency fun and interactive? This “How Well Do You Know Me?” guessing game is a great way for students to practice using frequency adverbs while learning more about their classmates!

📝 How to Play

👥 Group Setup:

  • Give each student a worksheet and tell them to keep it secret at all times.
  • Have students fill in the first section of their worksheet (labeled “Me”), ticking the correct adverb of frequency for each activity based on their own habits.

🎯 Guessing Game Rules:
1️⃣ Form small groups of four students.
2️⃣ Each student writes the names of their group members on the dotted lines in the second section.
3️⃣ Without asking their classmates, students guess how often each person does the activities listed on the worksheet, using adverbs of frequency (e.g., always, usually, sometimes, rarely, never).
4️⃣ When everyone has finished, students take turns revealing their guesses about one classmate at a time.

  • Example: I think Max rarely watches TV because he always talks about reading books instead.
5️⃣ After listening to the guesses, the student reveals their actual answers.
6️⃣ Students earn one point for each correct guess.
7️⃣ The player with the most points at the end wins! 🎉

📌 Optional Challenge:
