How to Play the “-ing and -ed Adjectives” Game
Materials Needed:

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prepare the Materials:
- Print and cut out the adjective cards, separating the -ing and -ed sets.
- Game Setup:
- Divide the class into groups of four.
- Each group gets a set of -ing cards and a separate pile of -ed cards.
- Gameplay:
- The first player draws an -ed card and places it face up.
- The player with the matching -ing card must form a sentence using one adjective and then ask a question using the other.
- Example:
- I think philosophy is very interesting.
- Are you interested in philosophy?
- If successful, the player earns a point and discards the pair of cards.
- If they make a mistake, another player can steal the point by providing the correct sentence and question.
- Recording Answers:
- Each group writes down the correct sentences and questions they create.
- Wrap-Up and Feedback:
- After the game, ask groups to share their sentences.
- Correct any mistakes and provide feedback.
- The player with the most points wins!
