How to Play Connect 4: Adjective + Preposition Edition

Preparation:

Download and print four copies of the adjective grid for each group of three students.
Print the answer key for referees to check answers.

Game Instructions:

Divide students into groups of three – Two students compete, and one is the referee.
Give each group an adjective grid, and give the referee the answer key.
Explain the rules – Players take turns selecting a square and adding the correct preposition to the adjective.
The referee checks the answer – If correct, the player writes their name in the square.
The first student to connect four squares in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins!

Bonus Round:

After the first round, swap roles so the winner plays the referee, and the loser becomes the new referee.
In this round, students must use the adjective + preposition in a sentence before claiming a square!
