Frequency Adverb Bingo

Frequency Adverb Bingo

Frequency Adverb Bingo

Engage students in a fun, competitive game while practicing adverbs of frequency and sentence-building!

🔹 How to Play

👥 Pair Up & Get Ready

  • Give each pair of students a Bingo-style worksheet filled with adverbs of frequency (e.g., always, usually, sometimes, rarely, never).
  • Each student uses a different colored pen from their partner.

🎯 Game Steps
1️⃣ Taking Turns

  • Students take turns choosing an adverb of frequency from the Bingo grid.
  • They must think of a verb that pairs well with the adverb (e.g., “always wake up early”).
  • Then, they make a complete sentence using the two words.

2️⃣ Marking the Grid

  • If the sentence is correct, the student writes the verb under the chosen adverb with their colored pen.
  • They must use a different verb each time they make a sentence.

3️⃣ Winning the Game

  • The goal is to get four squares in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), while blocking the other player.
  • Once a student gets four in a row, the teacher checks their answers.
  • If all sentences are correct, the student wins the round! If not, their opponent automatically wins.

4️⃣ Multiple Rounds

  • Students can play several rounds, using a fresh worksheet each time.
  • The player with the most wins at the end is the champion!
