Model
Ask children: What do you see in this picture? (children, friends, etc.) Ask children: What kind of things can you do with your friends? (answers will vary). Say: As you grow up, you are learning to do many things. What things have you learned to do? (answers will vary).
Apply
Play the games that follow. Have them discuss with their partner the different topics that appear during the Talk About It feature. After the first game, ask children to talk about what kinds of things they can do now that they could not do as babies. After the second game, have them discuss how baby animals look different from grown-up animals.
