DESCRIPTION

Have each student draw a box (see below) and a name or word with four different letters written across the top, one letter per box. The entire class uses the same letter across the top. Down the left side are four categories: fruits, vegetables, flowers and animals. The students fill in the boxes
with words that begin with the letters at the top
and are in the same class of nouns indicated on the left.


OPTIONS

Be creative! Use different categories (e.g. countries, food, clothing, colours, transportation, etc.).


MATERIALS

Paper, pencil, and dictionary
